 plbackitup   | Description: This script is written in Perl, and is used for backing up directories/files (in Linux) using TAR. It has several features including logging, email (the log), FTP and/or SCP the backup files. To use FTP you will need to download/install the netlib module from PERL CPAN. To SCP files download/install SSH from SSH.COM. It can be run as a cron job or manually. Instructions are in the main file. Usage is free. Read the Change log to see whats new. There is also now a FAQ file in the current version to help with some questions I have been getting ;-)
